When I lived ...I find this an interesting subject. When I lived with hubby in DK, we were poor students, but were still able to purchase a flat. Prices were more reasonable and there was a lot of help for home buyers. <BR/><BR/>We wanted to purchase anything when we lived in the Bay Area, but it was outrageous. You could have a job that paid over $100K, but still not afford a place. Not only were the prices outrageous, but the bidding wars often ended up tacking $50K to $100K to the price of a home!
