Sin City - Save the best for last

How can we complete our journey to Vegas without the Grand Canyon ? We saw the Grand Canyon via the Scenic airplane and on-foot as well. The beauty of the Grand Canyon...one of the seven wonders of the natural world.

The plane we took, sits only ~15-20


Can you see Hoover Dam from here? This majestic dam power distributes to Arizona, Nevada(Las Vegas included), and some states in California

    Wow! Nice shots you got there! Was this a day trip via plane to Grand Canyon and back to Vegas? I'd probably do this the next time I go to Vegas. Grand Canyon is too far to drive from Vegas.

    Sim, this is a day trip. Tour includes pick up/drop off most hotels along the Strip/downtown to & fro another small airport(BoulderCity) where the small aircraft will take off. Can drive if you have plenty of time to spare (some say abt 5.5-6hrs) but if like us no time, this is actually a good way to see Grand Canyon.

    Koeiru, lucky us that there was sunshine on that day. Previous days, there was some snow precipiation in the Canyon, so we got a summer-cum-winter shot!
