Shiokingly good Singapore (Season2) Part 5 - Everything at $2 !

And I'm saying Singapore dollars! Just like those value dollar stores, this market/food centre in one corner of Singapore has almost all hawker food at $2 (SGD)! You can also find economy bee hoon here at less than $2!

This prawn mee is $2 (SGD)! There're lean pork slices, char siew and prawns.

This is also $2 (SGD). Cheap and good!

  3. That does look good. But it'd be cheaper in VN. More like 50 cents to $1. :)

  9. MW,...sigh...wanton mee is something I can hardly "replicate" to the exact at home. Can never get the egg noodles to be QQ!

  10. The portion looks kinda small. I will have to order three dishes just to fill me up.

Have you been to the noodle shop on Garvey near Atlantic in Monterey Park, CA? My brother lives in MP so we go there for noodles frequently.
