I have not bought a stuffed/plush toy for a long long. long long... while. Of course, age has to do with it :( ...plus, with age, you start to think it's a waste of money to buy something that basically just sits somewhere, THERE (closet, cupboard, cabinet, drawer), doing nothing but collect dust and cobwebs. The unlucky ones don't even get a chance to collect dust because they are still wrapped in a plastic bag :O
Were you in playing in Canada? How's the connection to the banana again? ;)
ReplyDeleteVancouver??
ReplyDeleteThat's a moose in a Canadian mounted police outfit.
I have loads of those soft toys too, collecting dust. :(
ReplyDeleteMy colleague had the misfortune of getting a teddy bear for an office X'mas gift exchange many years ago. What made it a misfortune was that the bear was in shocking pink and it was obviously an "recycled" (=used)toy. It was so shocking that he dumped it discreetly immediately after receiving it.
ReplyDeleteI still remember the incident after so many years. So much for the spirit of giving.
You swam to Canada in a banana boat?
ReplyDeleteEast meets west, no connection with bananas lah! Hahahah!
ReplyDeleteming merciless, you are the closest to answer :D
SAHM, most of my soft toys from young are STILL collecting dust back in S'pore! And I bought one again :O
Victor, gosh....how can someone give a used toy as a present? :O
