Muruku and Indian savory snacks

It is not surprising. The snack I was talking about in my last post on Deepavali lunch is Muruku. This is a popular savory snack in India. YESsssss! Savory is good for me! I just love the crunchiness and cumin aroma.

I don't know the name for this. Some kind of crunchy fried flour with peanuts and curry leaf. Someone....pleeeaaaasssee...tell me the name...

  17. OOH! Now I know what I can ask my mother to bring me from Singapore when she visits! I like the 2nd snack you posted too.. that one's tasty. I can eat it ALL day.

I also like the ones that come with the tiny, puffed up orange and green fried bits. I think they may have lentils in them too. YUMMY.

Mmmm I wanna give it a try,
Everytime I see boxes of Indian snacks in the supermarket,
I'm always hesitated to grab one home..
I had a very bad experience before..
    But since it's your recommendation,
I shall give it a try!
