Personally, I classify some of Singapore's street-food as breakfast (or my breakfast cravings?) but they certainly are not the healthiest or most nutritious type of breakfast to start off your day, so indulge your Lontong, Roti Prata, Prawn Noodles, Radish Cake in moderation.
The eastern part of Singapore - e.g. Katong, Marine Parade, Joo Chiat, East Coast Road, offers a wide variety of popular Singapore street-food. Those living in the eastern part of Singapore are indeed spoilt for choices. If you are visiting Singapore, make sure you set aside at least half a day in the east region for food, before heading to central-downtown for fun and play.
