Tandoori fish

I SHRUNK the tandoori fish!!! Now the fillets look like Otak Otak and not pan-fried tandoori fish fillets. :O

Rub some tandoori spice on the sole fish fillets (leave marinated in fridge for at least 30mins) and pan-fry when ready to prepare your meal.

My tandoori spice concoction - crushed garlic, paprika, turmeric powder, ground coriander, ground cumin, crushed ginger, salt, pinch of five-spice

  6. Nice combination of spices in your tandoori mix. Bet that would work on chicken, too.

  7. LOL, it does kind of remind me of otak-otak :-) Your tandoori looks yummy. I've been lazy and I just rub the pre-mixed spice stuff on my fish & chicken.

  15. isha, you should try fish tandoori. It's really easy dish to do. :)

cynthia, of course you can. :)

KM, I think some otak may be even bigger and "fatter" than the fish :O

little corner of mine, I love otak otak too, but otak otak needs some effort in the making though.

the cooking ninja, I did not know why my almost squarish fish fillets can turn out a thin rectangle like otak otak. Lucky, the taste of tandoori was still there.
    It did not "shrink" ;P

buddingcook, looks less than perfect but taste good, if I were to rate it.
