Let's party. Let's Gado Gado - is this healthy Asian salad ?

When I got the sauce, and thought of making satay to use up the sauce, visitors to that post suggested that I could also try making Satay Bee Hoon, Gado Gado, Tahu Goreng. See that? A simple peanut sauce can "spawn" so many great, simple ideas. Before this post, I have not made any of the suggested. Well, sometimes, cooking a dish depends on "the right time, the right place, the right people" (a Chinese idiom - 天时,地利,人和 - pronounce tian shi, di li, ren he).

Whatever remaining from here and still remaining from there, can be used to make this! Great! Just the right time! Coincidentally, could I make it to the ultimate party?

Moreoever, all the ingredients were found at the "right place" (my fridge), and the "right person" (I, Me!) gonna cook it - Gado-Gado! A traditional dish in Indonesian cuisine - a vegetable salad served with a peanut sauce dressing. Other than Rojak, this is another Asian equivalent to Garden Salad with choice of Ranch or Vinaigrette dressing; or Caesar Salad. The vegetables are of course healthy stuff. But the peanut sauce(look at the oil...errr)...errr....I don't know. Anyway, just eat!

Gado Gado - Vegetables in peanut sauce dressing (serves 2-3)

Ingredients:
-3cups cabbage, shredded
-3cups long beans, cut into 5cm lengths
-2cups baby carrots
-1 medium-size potato, boiled in its skin, then peeled and cubed
-1/2 a block of firm beancurd, cubed and deep-fried
-1/2 cucumber, thinly sliced
-1 hard-boiled eggs, halved
-1tsp fried shallots

Method:
-Blanch long beans, carrots and cabbage till just tender (Note: Add the cabbage 5-8mins after the long beans and carrots, since cabbage takes shorter time to cook)
-Heat up the peanut sauce
-Toss all the vegetables in peanut sauce
-Tuck in!

Oh, wait, wait wait...there is one missing ingredient here. Can anybody guess what is it ?

This completed dish can be served at a "right place" (a party!) and to the "right people" (party goers!).
