Yuba (Tofu Skins) Salad

An appetizer side-dish, this Chilled Fresh Yuba Salad can be easily prepared at home. It might be plain-looking, but with a simple dressing, the sweetness of pure soybean flavor shines through.


You can use store-bought fresh yuba sheets, or leftovers Braised Yuba Sheets for this recipe.

Chilled Fresh Yuba Salad
Ingredients:
1 packet 5-oz organic fresh yuba sheets, make thick cuts (or slices), as shown
[Dressing]: 1 tsp low-sodium soy sauce, 1tsp sesame oil, pinch of ground white pepper and Japanese seven-spice
Green onions and/or cilantro, garnish

Directions: Toss the yuba slices with dressing, and garnish with green onions and/or cilantro.
