Chocolate Dates Flax Brownies

It's pure cacao goodness in my world of chocolate brownies. Texture-wise, are they supposed be cakey or chewy or fudgy? What's your take on brownies?

A good balance of all three - cakey, chewy and fudgy at the same time, if I'm answering my own question above - somewhat similar to a dense moist cake.

Today, this 3-Ingredient Chocolate Dates Flax Brownies are easy to make and satisfy bitter chocolate brownie cravings in the best possible way (ok, I know. I could have just nibbled on pure dark chocolate bars to curb those cravings).

But it's different nibbling on dark chocolate bar vs enjoying a warm brownie cake.

If I could do without sugar, butter and flour, I would. Not because I am avoiding these ingredients but just because my pantry is not well-stocked with them. If I could make my own brownies with what's readily available in my pantry, why not?

Raw cacao powder, pitted dates, flaxseeds meal (a.k.a ground flax seeds).

Brownies! Here I come.
