Mango Tomato Sauce Meatballs

The plan was to put together something quick, by simmering store-bought meatballs and store-bought pasta sauce in a pot, then make a one-dish meal of pasta with meatballs.

Everything was as planned, just a slight twist of adding (leftover) frozen cubed mangoes to the pot of simmer. That would only make it better, with reminiscent moments of sweet and tangy meatballs.

Make this Mango Tomato Sauce Meatballs and serve with Lettuce Fried Rice.

Mango Tomato Sauce Meatballs
Ingredients:
2 packs store-bought already cooked meatballs, about 6 meatballs per pack, thawed
3-5tbsp store-bought tomato-based pasta sauce
1 cup cubed mangoes, fresh or frozen
3-5 mini sweet peppers, diced/sliced to bite-sizes
Pinch of ground black pepper

Directions: Place all the ingredients in a pot on stove (or rice cooker, or slow cooker), let it simmer and cook, about 20minutes, on low-medium heat (since the store-bought meatballs were cooked-ready products, the cooking time will be much shorter)
