Oven-Roast BBQ Pork Tenderloin

Besides chicken breast meat, pork tenderloin is also lean cut of meat that is an excellent source of protein, Vitamin B and zinc. It might not be as forgiving as other fattier cuts of pork e.g. pork belly; and may have more "chew" to it, rather than "melt-in-your-mouth" in some oven-roast recipes.

Oven-Roasted BBQ Sauce Marinated Pork Tenderloins sliced into medallions paired with freshly steamed vegetables make perfect protein bowls.

BBQ Sauce Pork Tenderloin
Ingredients:
1-1.5lbs pork tenderloin
BBQ sauce marinade (store-bought), adjust amount accordingly, enough to coat the tenderloin evenly

Directions:
Add marinade to pork tenderloin in a re-sealable plastic bag. Marinate at least an hour. Preheat oven 400F. Place marinated pork on baking sheet. Roast pork for 20-25mins (roast at 375F, takes about 30-40mins), basting with marinade halfway through roasting. When pork cooks to internal temperature 145F, remove from oven and allow it to rest for 3-5 mins. Slice and serve with prepared veggies.
