Tomato Sauce Meatballs Protein Bowl

No mangoes to make Mango Tomato Sauce Meatballs, but there is always a pack of frozen vegetables available, so why not? For added fiber and overall nutrition as the more (veggies), the merrier.

That completes today's Meatballs Protein Bowl - steamed vegetables as the base, and portion of pasta to pair with tomato sauce meatballs.

These meatballs are also perfect as post-workout snacks; if you cook a batch in advance, then reheat whenever you yearn for savory protein snacks.

Tomato Sauce Meatballs

Ingredients:
1 pack store-bought already cooked meatballs, about 6 meatballs per pack, thawed
1/2 cup store-bought tomato-based pasta sauce
4-5 oz frozen vegetables (mix of peas, corn, carrot)
Pinch of dried herbs, and ground black pepper

Directions: Place all the ingredients in a pot on stove (or rice cooker, or slow cooker), let it simmer and cook, about 20minutes, on low-medium heat (since the store-bought meatballs were cooked-ready products, the cooking time will be much shorter).
